Coding issues: Bimmercode works but ECU ignores some changes

Hey guys,

I'm new to coding and I need some help with my F30 2015 (318d).
Just got my iCar Vgate WiFi & bimmercode, I manage to connect to the ECU's and change some features just to test the setup.

I started with changing:

A/C Auto: Off
ASS: Off
Window's continue to close when door opens: active

Problem is: only the windows change is working. For some reason, although the coding was successful, once I start the engine both the A/C and ASS are ON. I re-connected to see how the options were in bimmercode, and they both show as expected (off).

Any idea what might be happening?

I'm not an expert, but I understand that just because a setting can be changed doesn't mean the change will result in any changes in behavior.

Some changes may take a few start/stop cycles to take effect. Some may not be able to be over-ridden. ASS, for instance, is legally mandated in some countries, so the only way to over-ride is probably by changing the country code in the VO, which I doubt can be done with Bimmercode.
