Any update? Just bought a used 2015 X6 (F16) and have the following options, wondering if I can get connected drive set up...dealerships and BMW Canada havent been a big help.Would love to get the connected drive (Weather etc) and real time traffic....is this possible on my vehicle?

In the US market some older vehicles like 2014 and prior had 2g wireless which was discontinued by ATT so you couldn't renew the connected drive subscription even if you're willing to pay for it. Those still under the free period either got a gift card or could upgrade to 3g but if you were past the free period you were out of luck.

Based on your specs, it appears you have the ConnectedDrive Essential Plan (assuming your VIN is registered with BMW Canada). If you would like the additional ConnectedDrive Services such as ARTTI and Remote Services, you will have to upgrade your ConnectedDrive plan to the Professional Plan. The Professional Plan includes: Remote Services (6AP), ARTTI (6AM), Concierge Services (6AN), BMW ConnectedDrive Service Package (6AK) and BMW Apps (6NR). Larry

You should have at least "Emergency Call" and "TeleServices". Try pushing your SOS button to see if it initiates a call to the BMW Call Centre. If you have no ConnectedDrive Services, your BMW dealer may not have set you up with an ESA. I have attached a crop of my ESA showing the ConnectedDrive Services bundled in the two Service Plans. FYI, I upgraded from Essential to Professional in May/17 for $650+HST. Larry

It seems that something is wrong with the link, I am getting an error The page you were requesting was not found". Error 404 I was hoping to find the link at https://www.bmw-connecteddrive.com/c...selection.html but Canadian portal is not yet listed Thanks for keeping us up to date as to how things were progressing ! Looking at the site, when you click login from the fourth banner for MyConnectedDrive, it brings you to a 404 error page not found.

Is working ! For you info, if you already had a userid/password combination you are using for your mobile Remote App (Android or iOS) , then use that combination to log in.
Do not try to register again, it will fail Cheers |
