Personally, I would debadge any M car that I buy. Soon, I'm looking at getting a 3-series (335i or M3) or a 5-series (535i, 550i, or M5).

I would take the M badge off the side grills and off the trunk. M did not design the trunk, they designed the engine. Therefore, I'd keep the M badge on the Engine.

its a little hard to debadge off the side considering there will be a void there along with holes of where the badge clip is suppose to be.

After seeing the badge in person, it is noticeably small. Kinda looks out of place.

agreed, it should be slightly larger and slightly smaller than the e46 badge. I feel like that would make it more proportional to the trunk are where it is placed.

Finally someone agrees with me!!! lol In the pictures it looked just fine. After seeing it for the first time in person last week i really did think its noticeably small as well. Many people seem to disagree though. kind of makes me feel like why people care so much about their ///M floor mats around here if thats the case why not get some plain bmw mats if their so into debadging the car anyways.

I'd get new side grills, probably Black or CF.
