I have 2014 BMW 428i X drive Cabriolet. Its side mirror on the driver side is not working . I am neither able to fold nor able to adjust the mirror in it .
So I have two questions:
1) do you have any experience with such situation . How do you debug it. Could it be the motor issue or just the fuse issue ?
2) I am thinking to change the fuse but I don't know which fuse to change . Would you know?
I have attached the diagram of fuse box from which I am unable to figure out.

I had the same issue with passenger mirror, didnt fold, didnt adjust, didnt heat, didnt dim.

I fixed it by spraying the connector on driver side with electrical contact cleaner. the connector is behind the door panel and also manages the passenger mirror.

Maybe worth a try?

Does it mean I have to open the entire door panel. I use to have this intermittent problem that some time passenger side mirror or driver side mirror won't open but it use to go away . This time driver side mirror has just stopped working.

Yes, just the side door panel, on my F20 it was 4 torx if i remember correctly, 5 mins job.

Same situation i had, no error codes but mirror acted funky.

You can try it, no harm done maybe it works for you too.
