I'm assuming you used it on a Stage 1 map? You check and see if you have any credits. If not, then you can buy the OTS pack on their site for only $50.

I was unlocked by BPM Sport and simply i have had a few issues with their tune. Great tune for the S63TU and S55 but for the N26 almost blew my motor. I think BM3 is my best bet now but I don't wanna pay more than I have to if I am already unlocked. My car has catless dp and fmic so i am looking to run stage 2

Need this for B58 so I can remove the top speed limiter. Get M4 performance with all wheel drive.

Oh, sorry, thought you were on BM3. You shouldn't need to do any unlocking, but if for anyone reason you do, it is done during the flashing process, so you don't need to pay extra or do anything. Also, when you buy BM3, you get a credit to use on a map. Use that credit on a Stage 2 91/93 map. AGG means aggressive, so louder burbles. Lol.

That's next! I'm sure that'll be dropping this year if the DME can be unlocked.

You're welcome to email them, but I doubt they'll discount it. You have to realize that BM3 is a platform, not just a tune. You can datalog, lock/unlock DME, swap maps, read codes/reset adaptations, get custom tunes all done via BM3, have access to a map editor to take to any tuner, and more... In the future, we could see many more things as well, such as the ability to code the car (Like ESys coding). All done from one platform. You pay the price and get access to everything moving forward. On top of that, if you decided to sell the car and move to say, an M3 or another platform they support, you can move the license to the car and not pay again. You have to look at what they (and by they, I mainly mean Dzenan) have done. He has built the entire platform from scratch and started the tuning efforts. It was then that Halim hopped on and helped take on the tuning portion. Just think of that two guys (and one helper that does packaging and one ticket support helper) are supporting over 4k people, most of which hopped on in the past six months.

The company is really growing and paving the way for future systems.

You're paying for a license to use their system, no one is gonna give you a tune for free.

I can see why he would question it initially. BM3 isn't just maps or a single tune or even just a bundle of tunes. A lot of people don't go in and see what exactly it all does, how it does it, and what it will be doing here soon and in the future.

Considering they are 2 different licenses (but cost the same), are you sure you can transfer if you move to another platform? Meaning if you get one for the F30 it's for sure transferrable go F80 after?

I'm clarifying it to be 100%, but that's what I was under the impression of.

Have you tried doing the "Online Recode" and then flashing again? What other steps have you done?

Confirmed by Dzenan that you can. You are limited to one transfer, which is understandable

Yup, I believe if you go N55 to S55, all you do is pay the difference (if there is any, don't think so though, if anything it might be just a small admin fee for them to process your OBD unlock on the S55) and that's it

Yes I have tried this many times.. It's so irritating. I made a customer support ticket. Is it possible to get burbles with the stock catted downpipe?

Hmm this changes everything... Not right now, but one day in the future I will buy an F80. That would be the perfect situation.

It really is helpful. Even moreso because you just buy the new map pack and go! Get a nice stage 1 while you upgrade and put stage 2 when you're ready.

Now if they could start supporting the 911.Lol. Haven't decided yet.

So I buy the license for 595 and that gives me access to their platform. Then I can buy the OTS maps for 50 and at that point I will be able to use any it's map I want? That's from my understanding.

If you buy it for your 428i, you will get one free credit with your license. Because you're going Stage 2, you really don't have a need for the map pack unless you want to go to Stage 1 for some reason.

I want to run stage 1 for daily driving and then if I'm ever going to mob with friends then flash up to stage 2. I'm only going to do that because I'm trying to extend the life of my stock chargepipe.

If that's the purpose, you might as well install a sturdier pipe. Even on Stage 1 you increase the risk of cracking it. It almost seems counterintuitive to dance around the two maps to prevent the CP from breaking, which is already at an increased risk the moment you run Stage 1?

Stage 1

Hey quick question about bootmod3 stage 1: I am currently running a bms stage 1 piggyback (not jb4) on an unmodified 328i x drive. While the bump in power is definitely there, the shifts are pretty harsh, especially when the car is cold and the boost comes on abruptly.

I use my car as a daily driver and don't want to fall down the rabbit hole of downpipes, intercooler chargepipes etc. that are required for bootmod3 stage 2. How are peoples experiences with bootmod3 stage 1? Is it significantly smoother than bms stage 1? Is there a decent bump in power? I'm thinking about making the change to bootmod3, but would like some feedback before doing anything. Thanks in advance.

I will say that you will thoroughly enjoy Stage 1. It's smooth and good, clean power. If it's within your budget and you want it, I say get it. What's great, too, is that if you decide to go Stage 2 in the future, then it's not difficult to change.

Flash will always be smoother and better. You have control of the entire car vs. a few sensors.
