Does anyone here have any experience with repairing salvage F30 ?
Hello guys, I am in the market for a salvage BMW f30 . I am thinking 335i/340i or 435i/440i. In a perfect world I would get the 440i. Did anyone here do something like this before? And yes before you ask I have experience with car repair and stuff.

I have no first-hand experience with this but maybe this question is too broad? For example, there are some people who buy/sell salvage cars and they would never deal with any damages to the structural integrity of the car. Others can take a VW beetle and put it in a BMW body 🤣! So maybe this comes down to your strengths and what the car needs. Have you targeted any?

Unless you actually own a body shop or have one in your family, and can do the work yourself, the actual costs of parts make this a very expensive option...You might as well buy another one for donor parts, You will see...can it be done. Yes, but only if you have experience and access to facilities to do it...There is a reason why insurance companies tend to total light car hits...paying someone else to fix, after a total...or flood...not worth it in my opinion...Remember, there are some people on this forum who skimp on standard maintenance because of the price 🤔 We have all seen several late model bmw's on used car lots with the check engine lights on...And that's just standard maintenance stuff ...salvage? walk away...or watch your wallet die a slow death...:
