Hi Paul
Is cable plus transmission tune on for existing customers with your remap?
Or how much to pop in for that?

Normal price is £250. 10% discount for forum members so £225. We can apply it in house or remotely if you have a remote remap from us already.

I've been running the remote remap for nearly 2 weeks now and I'm really impressed with it. Process was super easy and love the smoothness and power of the map.

Do you have any more details on your gearbox software?

Glad you are happy with the remap.

Gearbox software provides faster/smoother shifting and increases torque limits in first 2 gears.

Hi Imran@Evolve, any plans for improving your M340i maps? Reading stage 1 can get to circa 450hp? Might be fake news.

Our M340i maps are well developed. 450 BHP maybe possible on a generous dyno. We just quote what they make on a Dyno Dynamics machine.

Cool, thanks for that. Your website states:

"Additional 26hp on a stock vehicle"

hence me asking.

What is with those curves at 2250rpm? Surely you'd feel this

Its the dyno holding the car under load and then suddenly releasing the load. You do not feel it on the road with natural acceleration otherwise you would have heard about it from more than one of our 1000's customers.

Looking at your website the graph appears to be taken from the F30 340i section and if I read correctly it's saying the standard car developed 367hp (rather than the 326hp claimed) and your remap then added 74hp to take it to 441hp (so a 20% increase on the 367hp figure prior to remap?).

In theory at least the output from a standard G2x M340i is around 370hp so are you already able to offer a stage 1 remap that will take that to circa 440hp or does it have a different ECU which you still need to crack?!

Since they offer a remote remap, it is a good bet that the remap is obd only

Is this discount still in effect? 449£ for remote remap and 225£ for the gearbox?
I was considering a local place (in Denmark where I live) which is cheaper but I would much rather have the option to be able to "turn it on and off" and the discount makes it a no brainer. (I saw the price on Black Friday, but when you don't have the cash it doesn't matter how great the offer is )
Mine is a 8/2015 LCI F31 320d ed.

same question

also, what's the story with the gearbox? have an 18 435d and read the box is 750nm up from 700. bit concerned if the tune gives 730 on a 700nm box…..

Why would you be worried about such a small 'breach' of the torque limit ?

30N is a very modest amount of force, and only 4% above the OEM/published max.

How much of your car's life will be spent at 100% torque output ? Probably so little that it's not worth worrying about.

Nothing will suddenly snap due to modest torque transgression.

There are other factors in the ZF8 transmissions which are a bigger cause for concern as the mileage increases, ie >100k miles.
