Do you mean tap off the same line? From memory, BMWs don't like that? Not 100% sure, but i do recall reading it. That being said, running to fuse box is essentially the same I guess?

Perhaps ask in the modifications forum section?

I tapped off the compass on the mirror for my radar but for the dashcam, tapped the ACC+ at the mirror/compass and Batt+ at the fusebox.

Hey Feng, could you provide us with a review of Cellink Battery B? I'm considering the battery pack over PMP since i don't want to put too much stress on the car battery. Cheers!

This is a silly question but do I have to disconnect the negative battery terminal before connecting the PMP to the positive battery terminal connection as described? Just making sure.

What effect does disconnecting the battery terminals have on the car?

it's not necessary to connect to battery anymore. I find that the PMP is not that good either (if you read through the whole thread). I am yet to have time to take off my trims etc to take pictures of how my Cellink is wired up but i will soon.

For those who are interested in the cellink, it works best if you drive 45 minutes+ a day. For me who drives 10 minutes (one way) to work, its hard to get the full 15+ hours of recording.

Finally, after months of procrastination, I finished hardwiring my dashcam/cellink B to the fuse box.

Many thanks, I used the same point that is a bolt facing upward , I added a 5mm nut to fix the grounding cable.

I think so. I cut the grounding clip and wedged it against the body of the car (from memory).

consider home link

I've just found this post because I was looking for BAT fuse (old dash cam has battery, new one need constant power in order to keep settings and to save last file). Anyway, mi comment is about homelink fuse (if I remember this is 146). Consider using it instead of 143, this power very similar and works just as I like it, power on when you power engine and power off with small delay.

I'll post my fusebox when I get home, and maybe do a proper run through on it like Steve did earlier in the thread.

I also tested the PowerMagic Pro with ASS and it does not reboot my camera as others around the world have reported. Not sure why that would actually happen though as the power is still on. It's like saying the lights would turn off when ASS kicks in?!
When I tried pushing the cable into the b-pillar cover; rather than have it exposed, my car started to beep, 3 times (vehicle was off (f32)) anyone else experience this?
