No rubber washer with race. Not sure why that's with the comp honestly... i wouldn't overthink it. Just use OEM screws unless your holes are starting to get stripped out. IIRC the VRSF ones are larger, so if you install, you'll never be able to go back to OEM.

Wagner supply some nice fixings, there a self tapper one side and a metric thread the other,so you can screw them in with an allen key ,till them bottom out , then fit a flanged nut to secure the intercooler

FWIW MTC who make a bunch of copies (I believe) have a recommendation of fitting support plates for their 6" IC.
I questioned them about the recommendation and was just told previous customers made their own to help support it which reinforces my statement of them making copies and not actually engineering it lol
