If you swapped back to your original coils and plugs and the problem is still there, but you never had a problem from before the coil & plug install, then there is a big chance that it was a human error and not the car or the parts.
I'm pretty sure this isnt possible on a N55. I don't think the coil wire harness wires are long enough to reach any other coil.

Cylinder coils 1&2, 3&4, and 5&6 are grouped in pairs. The coil connectors are right next to each other. Can easily mistake each in pairs IMO. Especially if you're not marking/not paying attention/rushing through the job.
Definitely can't mistake cyl. 5 coil for like Cyl. 1 coil though.
Best way would be to monitor misfire data and see what cylinders are misfiring and then go from there if it was me.

I'd have to look back at my pics since its been a while since I did it, but just another reason to only do one hole at a time.

Lol, i read that and was like... what?
yeah.. I was like wtf lol. is he serious lol
What do you mean..? BMP pi kit comes with 750cc injectors and the PI kit supplies fuel to the engine better than an upgraded HPFP so I killed two birds with one stone doing that for much cheaper than a HPFP

In what universe does a PI kit "supply fuel to the engine better than a upgraded HPFP"? There's a reason OEMs switch to DI from PI for "better" fuel control, lol. Anyways, I wont derail this thread into a HPFP vs PI discussion because that's off topic, but all those considerations aside, you said you ordered a PI kit to fix a problem with a DI injector? Adding PI doesn't fix issues with a DI injector, so it just doesn't make sense as a solution to a DI injector problem. Yes, it can be a way to add additional fueling instead of a HPFP upgrade, but that's not what this thread is about.

you're always going to have fueling issues with the one cylinder with the bad injector regardless of PI or not.. lol

you do not know what you're doing man. you gotta fix the injection issue first, then install the PI kit if you want.

We aren't saying you do. Were talking about this guy who jumped in and said to install PI. Sorry your thread went off topic.

The only reason why I said what I said because I had the same problems after installing ngk plugs and the ots stage 2 map bm3. We tried tackling it from all angles because my car wasnt throwing codes except for one time I got a lean code. I took my Pr coils out, went stock plugs, upgraded dv, getting custom tuned and etc but nothing worked. As you can tell plenty of other people are having the same issue and the last option me and my guy could come up with was fueling/injection issues. My guy also had an n55 m2 with the same exact problems but fixed it by going HPFP. So I decided that if it's either a fueling issue or injectors, that I'd get the BMP kit because it tackles both of those problems for cheaper. Just trying to give input because I have the same problems, no need for smart reactions. We're all here to help and learn

I know, we get why you said it, and aren't trying to critisize you for making a suggestion. All we are saying is that adding PI doesnt make sense if you have a problem with a DI injector because that problem will remain. You can spray additional fuel with PI but the cylinder with the DI problem is still going to have an issue. PI also won't have any affect except for high boost/load situations. Your situation just doesnt seem applicable to OPs.
