Definitely can't mistake cyl. 5 coil for like Cyl. 1 coil though. Best way would be to monitor misfire data and see what cylinders are misfiring and then go from there if it was me. Last edited by a.noo; 05-26-2021 at 04:56 PM.. |

In what universe does a PI kit "supply fuel to the engine better than a upgraded HPFP"? There's a reason OEMs switch to DI from PI for "better" fuel control, lol. Anyways, I wont derail this thread into a HPFP vs PI discussion because that's off topic, but all those considerations aside, you said you ordered a PI kit to fix a problem with a DI injector? Adding PI doesn't fix issues with a DI injector, so it just doesn't make sense as a solution to a DI injector problem. Yes, it can be a way to add additional fueling instead of a HPFP upgrade, but that's not what this thread is about.
