I'm happy that now people will see how much more they can get out of their cars. Hopefully, they don't break other parts in the process.
The big pump is too expensive. I rather have an upgraded hpfp than pi for sure but not at more than double the cost.

Nice! Now all we need is a full E85 OTS tune...lol.

From a cost standpoint, this is only about $300 more than the Fuel-It port injection kit and seems to be a much cleaner approach. I like it.

How are you getting a PI kit out the door for $1,000? The base spacer kit from Fuel-it is $1,150 but once you add fuel lines, 750cc injectors and a controller it's right at $2k. If you run the Phoenix Racing manifold it's even more.

The bmp kit with jb4 pi controller is right at $1k, besides i was talking about the big pump not the 35. If you cant run straight e85 with the 35 and an upgraded turbo then its not worth it IMO. Once you go pi you dont have to worry about fueling again with the xdi35 u still do. If full e85 is doable with this pump and a ps2 then im all for it.

You know that with the small pump you can get at 500whp on 93 alone right (with a PS2)? You can run 50/50 mix with the small one. At that point you'll be limited by your tranny and transfer case if you're xdrive or some other drivetrain issues.
From a convenience point of view... it's a no brainer. You don't have to look for gas stations with e85 and you can still run 50/50 if you wish.

so in theory, its either the PI kit or this upgraded HPFP (plus most likely LPFP and fuel lines) and you can be good to run higher than the e30 tune or full e85? im with you on the "cleaner approach".

I have been running this 35 pump with my pure stage 2 235 xdrive for several months now. I'm local to TTFS, who have been great. I see peak boost about 20psi on 93, about 450 whp.

I was until a few weeks ago, reason I swapped is I have e85 very near me, and I am thinking of going to e50. TTFS said they will provide a tune if I go ahead with this.

The LPFP was absolutely fine and wasn't needed to be changed. I'm just doing it as a preventative measure.

thank you for the input!

the smaller pump they offer goes for about 2.2K I believe, I don't see the bigger one listed.

If you got in touch with frank at TTFS I'm sure he would be able to help you. I went with the 35. I did it all in one go along with the pure stage 2.

Which pump?

The XDI 35, XDI 60 or the S55?

TTFS stated in another post the XDI-35 could NOT run straight E85.

I have seen no info on if XDI-60 can or cannot...and its not even on their website, so very little is known.

Besides, the JB4 is a POS for running PI.

Great work PTF! PI is such a bandaid for fueling I never liked it. Getting fuel from DI only is best when it can be done. I’m looking into getting the XDI-60

The TTFS XDI pump is holding 20-21 psi the whole RPM range on PS2 turbo. This is only on 93 octane

Still dialing in the setup, we just started upping boost and damn the car is a missile! This is a nice setup for even pump gas setup. Once we start throwing more octane at it (ethanol mix or race gas) we can bump the timing up more aggressively, but trust me the car is quite fun as is

Here is my setup from this morning - 20+ psi at 6.5k rpm on 93 octane pump gas - fuel pressure is perfect.

PTF stage 2H OTS maps for various fuel blends and octane levels would make the XDi pumps even more tempting.

Something like 2H 93 @ 19 psi, 2H E30 @ 21 psi, 2H E50 @ 23 psi or whatever is reasonable.
