Steering Wheel

Hey guys my 2015 335i m sport came with no paddle shifters, I know I can retrofit them and do all the work to get them on but I feel like I'm going to screw something up, if I buy a steering wheel with paddles already on it is it just plug and play? What would I need to do to. Any help would be appreciated

Lots of threads on this.......you need coding and the ability to plug in the paddles.

I just ordered paddle shifters and the back plate for my M sport steering wheel, what's the easiest way to go about this? Is it just plug and play and then code them in?

I watched the video, my question is trying to figure out if my car is pre wired or not.

If you check the wires behind the passenger footwell kick panel and there is no wire in the spot he is telling you to check then your car isn’t pre wired.
