My car is in £2k negative equity and for me to get into a X3 M40i would need another £10k deposit plus rolling over the £2k negative equity onto to the X3 deal in order to make the monthies acceptable.

I'll be buying my 440i at the end of the pcp. Probably will be my first and last pcp. So much for having equity in the 440i for the next car!
sounds like a keeper
I paid off the outstanding HP on my car last week and now own it. 18mths old 440i GC with MPPSK, like you. I'll be keeping it for a good while, particularly if they f*** up the front end design of the next 4, as they have done with the latest 3. The handling would also have to be really sensational in the next 4 for me to consider changing .. and it won't be, just a little bit better, I reckon - particularly given the M440i will be xDrive too

Ouch

I don't understand this PCP stuff

I paid £21K for my 330D 2015 with 18K miles. High spec and service pack active at the time of purchase.

Paid cash, using a personal loan @ 2.1%, having already some money from selling my E90 330D. The total interest to pay will be £500

£370 x 36 payments

Currently £3K outstanding and car still worth around £14K. Job done no final payments or mileage restrictions

No crazy outstanding balloon payments

PCP is pretty much what you did but instead of keeping the car when you're done you get a nice shiny new one instead.
