Short Shifter Experiences Please

Pacific BMW has 20% off for Mother's Day (promo code P051219). I was considering getting M Performance Shift Knob but I don't actually like the knob, I just want a shorter shift. I was planning on keeping the stock knob.

I don't track the car, it is my DD, but I want a better shifting experience. My goal is to make the car feel like a true sports car. Any recommendations?

I have read mixed reviews of the BMS shifter. Quick Google search shows Turner has a short shifter too. All input appreciated!

If you haven't already, add a clutch stop. Best $10 you can spend.

Shortening the pedal travel a bit can also make for quicker shifts...and just feels better overall.

Also get rid of the clutch delay valve for better response and reduces clutch wear. Did it on all my previous manual BMWs and never looked back.

I saw the long thread on removing the CDV on f30s and it's beyond my pay grade. My mechanic is pretty competent but the procedure requires so much MacGyvering, I feel odd asking him to perform it. I wish a company would just sell a modified clutch slave cylinder with the CDV removed.
