I watched the whole video series on the build. He does a nice tear down video in it as well. Great watch.

I like his channel, but kinda sad he removed all the best things about the B58. Water-Air Intercooler, Direct Injection, removed the factory ECU, etc. Pretty sure Big Boost broke 900whp if i'm not mistaken (may have been 800whp but not sure), all while keeping the intercooler, DI, ECU, etc.

Seems like he's stuck in the 90's Supra mentality.

For an actual race car, upgrading the stock IC would be a headache. He's talking about putting it in a drift car that will be at redline longer than it's at idle. Big boost still needs to produce actual results besides dyno numbers.

I get your point, but I respect the direction they went. No need to complicate things with BMWs engineering when there are OTS parts that work, are cheaper, and easier to get replacements if (When) things break.
