Microsd card using a USB adapter?
Hi guys,
Has anyone gotten a microsd card to work for media using a microsd to USB adapter? I have a sandisk adapter that doesn’t work, but I thought maybe comparibility might vary from device to device. I have a bunch of microsd cards for gopros and drones and it would be nice to be able to use them vs buying another USB thumb drive. If you got yours to work, which brand? TIA, Chester |

I've used an assortment of generic ones I've gotten over the years and never had one not work, you have to be sure the card is formatted as FAT32.
However I've found its much easier to just buy a stubby USB 128GB drive at $20 and be done with it and it's invisible in the car. https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-128GB.../dp/B07855LJ99 |

So, I have to ask a really ignorant question....I have only been using an Ipad for 99% of my day to day outside of work.
What would I use on a MAC (mini) to get music onto the above USB drive? I had an E93 previously that didn't have a music library function and now I would like to try loading music direct to the car. |

The adapter probably requires an additional driver which the head unit probably doesn’t have. I have a similar problem with a TV in India. It will only read from very specific usb portable drives, so a really old drive gets picked up but a modern day usb drive with a sata to usb convertor it ignores.
