f30 hid bulb replacement/ upgrade

Almost 2024..Is there any recent experience on Best options when it comes time to replace hid bulbs?

New hid versus led?

ok, just fitted these led bulbs replacing my xenon hids. Will advise how they go at night but all wemt in ok, no codes thrown, no flickering headlights. Didnt remove the wheels either. The bmw xlips are awkward but got the. half hr start to finish.

Yea I’m thinking this too!!!! BUT I’m sure I read somewhere about LED replacements being illegal when it comes to MOT….

I have halogen and today fitted h7 daybreakers but there just slightly better halogens and NOTHING like xenon’s or indeed LED’s

Does anyone know the actual UK law on replacing with LED
