Too much going on for me. In night traffic I would turn it all off and just go low beam so as not to deal with all that light levels changing and moving around.
If other drivers approach in the opposite direction when I have my high beams on, I simply click down to low beam. Done.

I hope the standard LED's are as good as the HID's are in my current F30 335i.
I don't need adaptive and swiveling lights, but I also don't like removing the adaptive HID/xenon's that were standard on my 335i.
That's why I hope the standard LED headlights are as good, even though they won't swivel.

I wish engine bays were areas that car makers made to look good, especially with modern manufacturing.
But really, other than a few of us who want to look under the hood, who cares?

Oooh. Those LED tail lights are beautiful. Do you think we'll be able to retrofit them onto pre-LCI or on the 4-series?

I read this entire thread the other day and I have to say I'm pretty excited about this LCI. More so the motor than anything else. Any specs on the turbo yet? Is it bigger than the N55? It sounds like the block will be able to handle more pressure. Maybe N54 V2?

Still very much not ready for prime time. I can build my F31 and get Adaptive M Suspension, M Sport Brakes, and Variable Sport Steering - all for ZERO extra cost above the base price! Where do I sign up?

You are right - I can still build my future F31 with the triplet of M performance options at ZERO extra cost over the base price. All riiiiight! In fact, your links allow one to access both the LCI and pre-LCI builds from the same page. All this bozo-access to the bmwusa website's dark corners by us the unwashed makes me wonder who the devil is in charge of their IT operations. I'm recently retired from 40+ years in software development, with a lot of emphasis on user interfaces - as the Queen would say: we are not amused. Or rather, we ARE amused.

People been asking this question for at least a couple of weeks. You would think that to counter the new C and upcoming Audi B9/A4 they would have gotten a few pre-production models into the hands of the auto mags for some tests and that we would have seen results on-line by now. Seems like we see reports on many cars before they hit the streets. One guy on another thread has his 340 already (Euro delivery).
