Deal check - 2020 430i GC

All,

BMW newb here. I’m US military living in Europe, and the local BMW mil sales dealer is offering the 2020 430i GC Sport Line (w/convenience package & leatherette) at $38K (-$9K) out the door. The M-sport (HK audio, HUD, 19” rims, exec package, leather, heated wheel, adaptive suspension) is $44K (-$11.5K). Xdrive for +$2K on either one. I can order the car as long as I keep the options list the same as above.

1. Would I be dumb to pass this up, or are these sorts of rebates the norm given the redesign on the way next year?

2. Obviously I am the only one who can decide whether the loaded version is worth the money. On one hand, $38K for a new BMW seems like a steal. On the other, M-sport looks great and so does Estoril Blue. Do the 2018 updates help the gap between Sport Line and M Sport?

I appreciate any insight you have. Thanks!

I got just over 8K discount on my 2016 428I Gran Coupe so that seems about right. I absolutely love my 428I GC, but there is no way I would get a 2020 as they are just wayyy too outdated in comparison to the new 3.

This.

The 4 Series runs about two years behind the 3 Series so you are getting the last of the outgoing generation. The F36 will be replaced by the G26 in July 2021.

The lease on my 440i expires early next year and I plan to buy it instead of leasing a car that's at the end of its model cycle.

If you’re buying new, lease-to-buy will save the most money.

Both are good deals. Are these US spec or Euro spec vehicles?
