Price opinion on 340i Manual
Is my asking price a pipe dream?
CPO 16 340i msport rwd manual limited slip with 33k miles - Chicagoland area https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1656065 Already losing money but hoping to minimize the loss. If I can't get closer this up I just hang onto it. Thoughts? |

Does seem a bit high but I don't have a frame of reference. Don't expect the LSD to bring a huge premium. I'm just considering the residual on my 3/30k lease was $32k.

for reference i bought my 16 340i CPO aw/cr with all your options and same mileage plus track handling/adaptive suspension/upgraded 19's for $35k with zero negotiations in january of this year. so you're off a tad bit.
lsd and manual won't really help with a higher price, but that's just my opinion. |

hmm
Beautiful car. I have a '14 328 sport line 6MT RWD with Msport suspension and performance exhaust. Live in SC so don't really need winter tires, but could potentially run those wheels with summer rubber. or you could keep them since you will need winter tires instead of my all season run flats...... i got about 52k mi on it. Bought it 2 years ago as a CPO, but CPO has run out..... Interested?

It's not an unreasonable price by any means but I don't think anyone is thinking they're getting a steal on it either. I think it's fairly priced just that most people want to think they're getting a great deal when shopping for a used car.
For reference, I bought a manual 2016 435i ZHP earlier this year for $34k (before taxes/fees) with similar mileage. The ZHP had many of the same options, including LSD, but besides being limited 100 cars, it also came with MPPSK, MPE, adaptive suspension, MP front lip, spoiler and diffuser, fresh MPSS and limited color #398 wheels. That said, it has the NBT not NBT Evo infotainment, does not have a heads up display and no CPO warranty. Overall, I still think it's a fair price for a nicely optioned car and that CPO until 2021/100k should be pretty attractive. |

Take the LSD out and drop your price $1500. Then sell the LSD on the side

Thank you both for the feedback! I have offered to sell it without the differential. We will see hopefully the right deal comes along. I'll get more aggressive in the spring. The car certainly is growing on me every day., especially when conditions are less than ideal.
