All I've done to it:
- rear pads and rotors (just before the free maint expired)
-tires at 30k - Michelin Pilot Sports are 1000% better than the conti runflats
-changed headlights from halogen to LED at 30k and then went and changed every other light to LED too (fog, signal, brake, reverse)
-JB + at 35k miles and I wish I added it years ago!

With a 3rd kid on the way I think her days are numbered though... going to try to cram 3 car seats in it but I don't see that going well
Right on - how old are your kids? I think we are done with 2, but 3 is really exciting 👍
4yrs and 21months. Both are still rear facing which makes it challenging with space in the front seats!

Replaced timing chain as a preventative measure, turned out it was literally falling apart (pieces of the guide fell into my oil pan so I got pretty lucky)

After replacing the timing chain I went stage 2 bootmod3 which seemed to cause drive-train malfunctions, started by doing spark plugs & that didn't fix it so I went ahead and had the low and high pressure fuel pumps replaced.

I've had the car about a year now and while all this work was fairly expensive I'm happy to be driving what once was a $60k for less than 19 grand out the door.
If you care to share...what was cost for timing chain/guide work?
Thanks/Bill

2017 340i Xdrive ~ 43k miles.
Expecting 50k by the end of December (or probably before then considering we’re going on a road trip in December).

Things I’ve personally done to it (recently) that just give it the Tyler touch:
• Changed to drilled front & rear rotors
• Attempted to De-badge it (immediately realized I liked the badges on and got salty about it)
• scraped my front bumper by bumping/running over a curb.
• shut the garage door on the trunk lid
• tinted the entire windshield (AGAIN)
• spilled coffee in the seats twice in ONE DAY.
• got the cars paint deeply cleaned, Removed Swirls, Clayed, and protected (got all those blue scratches taken care of)
• took it in for its 40k service.

The list goes on and on. Not even mentioning the extensive amount of warranty work done, and the abuse that’s it been through since I’ve owned it. I sincerely feel bad for the person who buys this car in 6 years when it has no warranty and is over 100k miles.

2015, 328i Xdrive sedan, luxury trim with sparkling bronze metallic paint. Just rolled into 77k kilometres today which is about 48k miles. Runs well, no squeaks or rattles and everything works on the car. No mods and I plan to keep it that way. However, I did change the 18" tires from Pirelli P7 Cinturato run flats to regular Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+. The Michelin tire has amazing grip, is a little quieter and rides better over bumps. I am glad I made the tire change to Michelin.

The car is not a daily driver and is kept in a heated garage. It is out of Warranty, but serviced at BMW for now. I have all the BMW service records from new and the car has been reliable. I have now owned it for two years and driven it 7k kilometres (4500 miles). I plan to keep it a few more years.

16' 340xi with only 6800 miles, only issue I've had was leaking rear axle seals due to failed LSD instalation attempt. Warranty runs out in Febuary and I plan to keep the 340 for the forseeable future.

Not really. My 2015 was 52k when it was new, and there are a couple things it doesn't have. No HUD or active cruise, for example. I'm sure a fully loaded piece would be close to $60 in those years.

I think back then the 328 started in the low to mid 30s but now the 330 is over $40 base. I wasn't able to configure one to $60k msrp not saying it isn't possible but that's today's prices. You could throw in a bunch of m performance accessories to push it a little higher I guess but no one pays full retail.

Garage List
2013 BMW 328  [0.00]
2013 328i xdrive, at 83k right now, purchased at 62k of May 2018. Love the F30 and do want to keep this for as long as possible but have also been thinking when I can financially upgrade to 340 and about the timing chain of the n20.. Recently had my rear brakes and rotors done but there is a kind of burning plastic/rubber smell still coming from rear driver's wheel and dealer said could be from new brakes and rotors and they rechecked everything to confirm but I'm feeling a bit off about it. Any ideas of what it could be and if shop would've caught if something else? It's been already over 2 weeks since the brake and rotor job and it doesn't always smell.

It was an Integrated Supple Module failure. $285 out the door. I guess it's a common part that fails on BMW's in colder climates.

So 113k on my car. I've owned it for 1yr and put 35k miles on (I know, makes me sick to rack miles up like that, but at least I enjoy every mile I drive in it. Planning on getting a 2nd car for work around tax time.
It had brand new front and rear brakes when I bought it.

What I've spent so far. I have a buddy that works on Bimmers in his garage, so he only charges $50hr for labor
Valve cover gasket $250 total
Walnut Blasted $150
Charge pipe blew $175 installed myself
Integrates Supply Module $285 total
In tank Fuel pump- done by dealer free. Factory recall
