No only got the sensors so was considering buying the camera when I bought the screen+carplay dongle, but settled on the sensors being sufficient for my needs. Im getting tinted windows (20% light) on the back so that might perhaps create a need for a camera, but believe that the sensors might be enough

On another note, my order through the forum group went through now and has been shipped with tracking number

I expect the sensors will perform the same as now. I have sensors and camera and both work perfectly. Glad your system is on the way! Be sure to check the other thread for help and hints once you get installed.

Glad I found this place . Purchased a HU and a back-up cam for my '14 F32 - can't wait! Added myself to the google doc too.

Is there a place I get get parking sensors aftermarket? How would I hook these up with the new HU?

Primarily interested in the front parking sensors - iirc a F30 I've driven previously had sensors all around in addition to a backup cam.

Hats off to you regardless. Even with Louie making the whole process seamless (folks, you will not find a better supplier to deal with) there is still trepidatition to purchase an item like this.

That's my concern also.

From what I've read, the issue stems from the sound card inside this head unit (which would lead to this issue no matter what setting). I may be mistaken though.

I installed my screen yesterday and can confirm that OEM audio is unaffected and works great. Both radio and Bluetooth. The android side has poorer audio which I am troubleshooting, but I can always play oem music and still have gps via android (with gps voice instructions that come through fine for voice).

I am happy with the screen and would buy it still even if only OEM interface was all that was offered
