Remote 3D view in Connected App and Canada

R360 is only available on G series vehicles.

Canadian33,
I have a 2018 M760L and I updated the BMW assist as instructed and even re-booted the system by pressing on the audio button but still don't see the 3D option in the car or the iPhone app. The car is fully loaded with 3D in the car.

Did you enable Remote 3d view under Data privacy settings of idrive under My Vehicle?

I did but the car needed an update pushed from BMW side which canadian33 has graciously taken care of. The remote 3D now works and I love it

Anyone have any update to this? I have a newer (as in a week) 340i and i dont see the option to enable remote 3d in iDrive settings.

Where would it be in the app as well?

Damn.. I got a 2018 330i with surround view, but I can't seem to find the option to "Update BMW Assist" ..

Remote 3D view is only available for G series and up. Your 340i is what is known as a F3X, and does not support remote 3d view.

Gotcha, I do realized my 340i is an F series car. I missed the G series only in your posts.
