So cheap that they are disposable. Last about 30 washes

I use Wheel Woolies and EZ Detail brushes (there's a large and a small size).

I used to just use a Halfords wheel brush and a wash mitt just for wheel but after watching white details videos on YouTube I invested in wheel Woolies and detailing brushes. He does have a great wheel cleaning vid here

Ordered this through amazon , does a good job, wanted one with softer bristles so it wouldn't scratch my black wheels as ordinary brushes would, and the 20'' are bloody fiddly to clean, a right pain in the a**e.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 You do have to wait two weeks for delivery. Well done for opening the thread, i was going to do the same , to get other peoples views and ideas on cleaning fiddly wheels, but thought nobody will want to talk about cleaning wheels, how wrong i was !!! |

I've used EZ detail brush on my previous cars but found they clean well but flick and spray filthy water with brake dirt everywhere.
For this car I picked up some wheel woolly sticks for between the spokes and for the inner rim. https://shop.autofinesse.co.uk/woolly-trio A detail brush for the corners and bolt recess areas https://shop.autofinesse.co.uk/festi...ailing-brushes Then this muc off brush for the tight areas around the brakes and the back of the spokes, one half of it bent at right angle. I actually ordered it and wasn't sure about it so went to return it to Amazon, they said just keep it. I guess not even worth the cost of them processing the return! https://www.amazon.co.uk/Muc-Off-Whe.../dp/B003LVZE10 I took the wheels off last month to do a full clean down and reapply of C5 wheel armour after 18 months and they were immaculate still. They only had a couple of tar spots I had to dissolve. |

I too use the EZ wheel brush which is great (I find the small size best for my 405M's), BUT the shafts tend to snap after around six months use - I wash my car once a week, anyone else find the same, I would expect much longer?
Or if anyone uses a similar brush which lasts longer please let me know. Cheers Joe |
