This just started happening in the last couple of days.

-sos call malfunction when I start the car, my idrive is stuck trying to make an sos call
-driver restraint malfunction pops up too
-tpms malfunction (but this is understandable since I put different wheels on and had to get 2 new sensors when the old wheels had the old 2 stuck in)
-idrive goes on and off
-my ac/heat will stop working and won't turn back on if I try. Randomly comes back on.

Warranty finished last year. I have a JB4, Injen intake, and an axle back Remus exhaust.

What do I do to take care of this? Is this something a dealership would fix on a modded car?

Edit: I did update the navigation to 2019 maps via usb. If that's the reason, I will delete that and use the software update from bmw.com.

Normally when you see multiple error messages it means you might have a bad battery.

Turns out the problem was water in the car causing the malfunctions. Everything's cleared up now.

Would you care to explain further? Like....where’d the water come from?

There is a known TSB to address iDrive freezing under certain conditions. The dealer will reprogram the vehicle. If the warranty has just ended, this procedure might be done as a courtesy.

Couldn't avoid driving through a big ass puddle taking up the whole street.

Where exactly was the water?

During the cold times in NY, my iDrive would just freeze with a blank screen (assuming due to the cold) then it would come back up hours later. Weird

The water came through the bottom of the car. There's wires if you open the doorsill area that got affected by the water. A shop I knew was able to get the water dried up and out. No damage or anything to replace.
