Last week I did some coding on my F30.

1. Folding mirror on locking
2. Seat belt warning 50m from start as oppose to 200m
3. Seat belt gong 30sec as oppose to 100sec
4. ASS remember last function. That means I can still use the function if I wanted to. So it's not disabled.
5. 0 sensitivity for rain sensor on wind screen. Couldnt stand the wiper going crazy fast on me when it rains. I prefer to be able to control it myself.
6. M logo on cluster. Still trying to figure out how to code mperformance instead of m550D or other variant.
7. Coded digital speed indicator on cluster.
8. Coded seat retract back for easy access. But this did not work. Not sure why.

I did as much as I could. Some I didn't what to code.

Will try expert modes when I see something interesting to change.

I want to get a digital cluster but only if I can code the cluster with what I have. If I have to do a remote link with the seller I will give it a pass. Hopefully bimmercode will allow coding of the digital cluster.

Very happy with the purchase.

Maybe would like to add front PDC and code that. My car doesn't have front PDC. Only rear.

You cannot code the digital cluster with Bimmercode.
You can change some single codings in the cluster, but it will not work 100% complete.
And of course you will always see the red manipulation dot.

Re easy access/easy entry: if you code too large of a value for backwards movement, it won't work. I have explained this elsewhere on this forum, but I will let you search for the posts.

Oh... Just sharing whatever I could as far as coding is concern. Nothing amazing I know as the coding I did were just the easy ones.

I have this setting in iDrive, I can choose between 1 or 3 blinks. Do you need a different setting?

It went away some time ago. Not only did BMW remove it as an option on new cars, they also removed it as an option on older cars that had software updates. I have 5 blinks, like it much better than 3, and no way does my car ever go to a BMW shop so they can mess it up.

Not with Bimmercode. BMW has very limited Android compatibility. There are Android screen swaps you can do, however.

I'm having trouble getting mine to do screen mirroring with my iPhone, and it supposedly should be able to from the factory.

Is it worth coding? My aftermarket pke has that option but I don't know if I want the seat to retract every time I turn the car off.. like I can get out fine rn. Worth it?

Still have mine set to 5 as well and I haven't seen a service center in years as I have a great Indy shop so no need unless I need to stop by parts for whatever reason.

Since my F30 has the rear PDC, I don't think I need to program it. Just need to connect up all the wires.

Sorry misread your message. I am installing front camera as well soon. But I am installing the front camera to my Roadtop MMI. No coding required.
