Noob question: Using 47ET at the back, could I go down?
Hello!
I bought the car, an F32 with the following setup: For the tires. 225/40 R19 -front 255/35 R19 -back For the rims. 8Jx19 ET36 -front 8.5Jx19 ET47 -front Im planning to buy new rims for the summer, but with ET47 its really hard to find one. Could I go down to like ET40-45 for the back? Will the tires fit, will the geometry be bad? -What would you guys do, maybe new set of tires? Sorry for beginner question, tried to search the web, but there are some questionable and different answers everywhere. Good day |

You could go down to the 20s it wouldn't matter unless you're lowered

So as for the tires, it doesent change a bit just how it sits on the car, is that correct? Also, after I do like ET43-44-45 etc.. I should align the car and all fine, right? |

The "et" is the offset which is basically just the distance from the hub to the inner edge of the wheel. Et37 would be like putting a 10mm spacer on the stock wheel which people do all the time. No alignment is needed
