F30 Mods

Hey guys,

I parted ways with my E92 335i last month and bought a 2012 F30 320i. I love to do DIY small projects like installing an amp&speakers, changing basic parts, etc.

Things I want to change depending upon how much work they require/cost.

It has old ass Halogen bulbs which I hate to core. Of course, I paid less because of them but want to upgrade to anything that has a white beam and angel eyes. What can be the best option here in Australia? I don't mind purchasing overseas or buying one from wreckers if that works?

Apple play can be only added by replacing the screen etc?

What can be basic/cheapest option to get some nice sound out of exhaust?

Looking forward to your valuable responses although changing headlight is my main and first.

For simple plug and play headlights that look like OEM angels - buy DEPO.
Plenty of information online on install process.

For better exhaust sound you can do muffler delete or better yet, install hi flow cat or carless downpipe

Hey I looked a bit online and couldn't find many! most were suitable for Left hand drive only.

Have a look on the Kies Motorsport youtube channel, he takes on some of the modifications you're talking about.

Another exhaust option is to do a dual tip conversion, get a 335i/435i axle back/muffler and an ebay diffuser. Get some sound and aesthetic benefits. I have a spare muffler but based in Canberra.

To be honest, of all the mods I've done, the one that has given the best reward vs investment was the bimmercode app and a bluetooth dongle. Removing some of the frustrating features of the car rewards everyday.
