bootmod3 for iOS - iPhone/iPad

Depends on your iPad. Do you have a data plan with your iPad? If yes then you create a hotspot just like you do with your phone and connect wirelessly. If not then you'll need to launch a hotspot from your phone and connect the WiFi agent and iPad to your phone's hotspot. If you are at home and have programmed your WiFI agent to connect to your home WiFi then all you need to do is have your iPad connected to your home WiFi.

Ipad was recently purchased brand new 7 months ago. If you want to call that recent. Lol
Did all of what you posted prior to my post but not connecting thru agent to BM3. Yes the iPad connects to my phone as the hotspot and links up perfectly. Bootmod3 password on phone and iPad matchup and we are linked.

However the bm3 app when open still says disconnected. I will try it again when I get back into my car but yes you confirmed what I was wondering with connecting to the WiFi agent device.

Some iPads come with integrated LTE and some don't, regardless of whether it's new or not.

Can you connect to the WiFI agent through the app on the iPhone? Try that first and if that works then connect the iPad.

Everything works great now. Had to shut the app down twice then she finally took on the third time

Ipad also gets internet from my Galaxy 8 plus hotspot.

Dumb question I'm sure, but I have A Dinan tune. Can I use this as a monitoring tool?

Use bootmod3 just for monitoring? I guess you could but there is not a monitor tool only solution. You would be paying for a full license and OTS tune. Might as well tune the car.

Well I'm fairly new to tuning but I purchased the car with an already installed Dinan tune. How would I go about going to BM3? I see based on dynos that BM3 has more gains with even stage 1-2 than Dinan does with stage 3-4. And also I like how BM3 has more abilities with that app. I'm guessing that I'd have to remove the Dinan and install the BM3

When I try to download the bootmod3 app off the apple store for IOS it says this product is no longer available and will not let me download the app...??
