upgrade headlights?
Hi everyone, I just got a 2014 320i xDrive like 2 days ago.
I really like the car but the only thing I wish it had was the iconic BMW Halo lights. heres a pic: I guess it didn't come with the "lighting package" so it's missing the HID/Halo/AngelEyes headlights, but other 320i models do have them so how do I get Halo lights? Can I take it to the dealer ship and have them order and install the headlights or just look online and take it to a car mod shop and have them install it? I tried looking online but I am having a very difficult time finding them, and I am not car-savy I don't want to install them I think I might mess up this brand new car please help!!!!!! |

I would wait a couple months for a good aftermarket solution to hit the market

sorry to hear that man. if i were to buy an F30 today, all i would spec it out would be the lighting package, nothing else. don't care about luxury line, sport line, premium package, moonroof, heated seats, nav, etc. but its got to have the xenons with the halos.

Nothing you buy aftermarket will look as good as OEM led/xenon's, and will require recoding which will void the warranty on the ECM. If you want to keep your warranty suggest getting a quote from the dealer. That said if warranty isn't an issue OneNight has a nice retrofit kit.

I was exactly where u are, now I have xenon and the halos from the 4 series concept, check out a thread by Blueaudi, but off course u risk loosing the warranty, to me it was worth it, and if something happens and I need to claim warranty from the dealer I can always put back the original headlights
I love the way my car looks now u will see some pictures of it in the thread by blueaudi |

No dealer will install that for you. I believe you'll need coding done, as well Too late to return the car? |

If they are so important to you, why not just buy the OEM xenons and have the dealer install them?

I wonder how much that would cost. They will milk you good for the labor. I think the 3er looks like crap without the projectors for xenon so not sure why anyone orders/buys them without. Also not sure why BMW even makes them without.

from what people have been seeing, it can run upwards to $4000 to get the OEM xenons installed

Sorry guys as I set up a new thread after reading this.
See below Hi all, I realise there has been a lot if discussion around retro fit kits. Found this on Bimmian and wondered if anyone has fit one. It looks impressive as they even do a 6000k option in pure white rather than the normal blue tint. You can get DRL,headlights and fog lights all in the 6000k spec for £112 per set. http://www.bimmian.co.uk/HID-Retrofi...W-F30-3-Series
