My new girl Monica
Coming from a 2010 Subaru Impreza WRX hatchback and going into a 2016 328i Xdrive M-Sport in Alpine White with only 21,000km on it (13,000mi).
First impressions of BMW as a whole... I've spoiled myself and will never be able to go to anything less than this. Everything about this car has been carefully and methodically designed. Truly blows me away at how great of a car it is. I live in a more remote part of northern Canada and can honestly say after I put on a good set of winter tires (Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 Green) and it's hands down the best car I've ever driven in the winter. Couple pictures I took of Monica after I brought her into the shop after work. Excuse IPhone quality. |

Monica looks like a keeper, congratulations. I could not help myself checking where Thompson is located and what the weather is like, it is cold over there even by my standards. Just curious do you use any engine preheating systems over there? If you always leave from a heated garage then obviously it is not an issue.

Surprising that you got a six year old car with such low miles. A car like that is a real bargain.
In 2013, we bought my wife a CPO 2010 MB C300 with about 20K miles on it. The car was perfect, and we paid less than half the original sticker price. It was literally driven by a little old lady. When we looked through the manual, there were little yellow sticky notes with that spidery, shaky writing that you saw on birthday cards from Great Aunt Agnes when you were a kid. |
