I just installed a speed buster. A German made product today. You control it from an app on your phone. Right now I have it in their Sport mode and it look like you can map you out output if you like. It's more fun for sure as launch.

If you like that feeling, by all means, enjoy, but there is no actual difference in performance. And, be ready for a diminution of response at the last portion of the throttle travel as compared to the as-delivered condition in your car. The trade-off has to occur somewhere!

You are incorrect. 0-60 improves with sprint booster. I have verified this for myself multiple times and there are multiple YouTube videos showing this. No extra power but remapping the system fixes hesitation on takeoff.

If you're launching the car correctly with a brake boost, the sprint booster will not have an effect on 0-60 times.

Maybe if you're just mashing the gas from a dig it will help with the initial tip in, but otherwise, the first thing I said is accurate.

A JB+ for $199 will allow a B58 to accelerate faster than an M2 Competition (detuned S55 with over 400 horsepower). Good luck trying to do that with a sprint booster:

Damn, all it takes for the B58 to best an M2C is 2-4 pounds of boost? Shows how much of a beast the B58 is, or how docile the S55 is in in M2C guise But, also makes sense as the JB+ will generate a realizable horsepower gain, which will of course increase 1/4 mile times 0-60 times etc. If you ask me JB+/Dinan sport or any other little boost controller (or better yet a flash tune) is a significantly better investment than a sprint booster. One makes your car feel faster and actually faster, and one only makes your car feel faster. But then again, different strokes for different folks.

Remember the G20 M340 is 383/385BHP advertised. About 30BHP over the current MPPSK advertised 355BHP. Just a factory version of a JB or Dinan. B58 is a very very good base for performance gains. Only factory limit is tuning it too close to their other higher end products.

Exactly, can't be stepping on the higher models toes. But that leaves room for the aftermarket like you said, so fine with me.

With the S.B. you don't have to press it fast and it is much easier to get the desired effect with a slow gentle push. It isn't that you can't replicate the SB with your foot, it is just far more effortless to do with the SB in place.
Are there any worries of the SB causing damage or overwear to the car?

From what I understand, pedal tuners increase the speed of throttle opening. As has been explained, pushing the pedal faster is not going to resolve the limitations of the throttle, which are inherent to it's design. From the factory, there is maximum speed which the throttle can open, no matter how fast you push the pedal. The time it takes for the throttle to open to WOT varies, depending on the model of your vehicle, but there is countless video and customer feedback, that supports that pedal tuning, does actually give improvements in 0-60 times. There are way too many reports of .2 to .8 second improvements in 0-60 times. Also, it's important to keep in mind that the time saved in throttle opening is cumulative. So in theory, pedal tuners don't just help when going from a standstill and smashing the pedal to WOT. Even with, moderate off-the-line pedal input, tipping into the throttle, and advancing to WOT, the total decrease in throttle opening time, is the same.
