Hey Stu,

Is all this thread also relevant to a 2011 335i (LCI)?

Burble

Hi Stu - what can be done to tune Burble/throttle response like the MPPK?

is this something factored into this tune or is that only done by the MPPK?

Unfortuately not.. E series N55 engine is more restrictive on the turbo inlet side which is why we aren't seeing gains as high as that on the F30.

Still, we do have a good E-series N55 flash tune available here is a completely stock E82 135i N55 DCT we did:

Stu,

Any further update on the F series 3/4 series cars -and your thoughts on the potential uplift between the N55 E series and the N55 F series (asking because I have the N55 e93 with MPPK and am thinking about buying an F33 and would need a tune)

We're doing a few N55 F series a month at a minimum and the gains are strong and consistent. The EWG vehicles definitely gain more. Usually have a tuned figure between 240 - 250rwkw. The PWG vehicles may be anywhere from 230-245rwkw so seems to be more variance there.

For reference an E series 135i/335i with a custom flash will dyno around 225-235rwkw.

I've seen the E series N55 with M PPK dyno around 215rwkw on our dyno.

Wow that is a big step up dbetween the e93 MPPK and the f33 with a tune -35kw.

How comfortable are you with the potential for engine issues with the tune over the longer term?

Hi Stu.

Is the flash tune just a retune of the stock ecu?

how much to get an f30 335i tuned?
