Bumper not aligned correctly?
Hey guys, just noticed that my bumper isn’t flush with the hood of the car. Had DEPO lights installed a few weeks ago at a shop, noticed the lights weren’t flushed so I went ahead and realigned the lights myself with the help of a friend yesterday. Lights are on perfect now but when putting the bumper back on I noticed the bumper isn’t sitting flush below the hood of the car. I tried loosening up the star screws and trying to line them up before tightening and still the same problem. Any help is appreciated!

I've noticed this too with my recently installed depos. I think its because the screw holes for the T20 screws that attach the bumper to the headlights are slightly lower on the Depo than oem, thus leaving the outer end of the bumper not come fully flush.
I'm going to use some washers under the T20s to compensate. |

Yeah the washers didn't do much at all as the little slot for the bumper on the headlight is keeping it firm.
So the solution it seems to me is to take off the front bumper all together and loosen the headlights screws enough so you can push the headlight up and then retighten the top screw first while ensuring the headlight is sitting at its highest point allowed by the top screw joint. Might give it a shot tommorow. |

My best guess.. the headlight mounting lugs weren't adjusted correctly when they installed the headlights resulting in the housing being aimed too low. This throws off the alignment of the bumper, which then throws off the alignment of the hood.
