Installing coilovers (ST XA coilovers)
Does anyone know if there is anything else I need before installing a set of coilovers? I just bought a set of ST XA coilovers for my bmw f32 RWD w/o EDC.
This is my first set of coilovers, so I am sort of new to this. Is everything I need just included in the box and I should be able to give my local BMW shop the coilovers and they'll be able to install them for me? Thank you for any help! 😭 |

I would recommend getting new front strut bearing/mount, new bolts, new gaskets for the front and rear strut mount. New bolts aren't critical, but some of mine were rusted and its like $30 for all of them so I figured why not. Also Id highly recommend getting the front strut knuckle tool to make things easier. You can use a 3/8" to 1/4" adapter or a screwdriver but the tool is so much easier to use.
If a shop will install it you dont need the knuckle tool Last edited by Shadycrew31; 01-09-2021 at 06:45 PM.. |
