Need advice on next upgrade

Currently have 2014 F33 N55 EWG, (33000 kms), FBO, including exhaust, PS2, hi-Flo inlet, JB4 w/Bluetooth map 5, ots MHD bef. Running 94 oct (petro Canada), live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Goals are to have a reliable vehicle to go on a road trip but able to beat the guy next to me on the street (occasionally), i dont abuse the car but like to lay into it from time to time. Ideally get to 450-500 hp without losing reliability. I don’t track the car, but I may, just to say I have. Not interested in meth or Pi, or running anything other than oct 94, however I’m open to hpfp, lpfp, etc..... I do plan on getting a custom bef, once I complete build.
Lots of questions,
Keep JB4 and MHD or just MHD? (Please Consider goals listed above)
Lpfp? Do I need this if not running any blends of e?
Hpfp?
Ive read a lot of posts on here and I’d like to thank all of you in advance for advice and patience. Thank you.

Btw first post on a forum, yes I’m a newb

Upgrade the HPFP and get rid of the JB4. Get a custom tune for your octane and id say your in the 450whp range. To get to 500whp you will need meth or ethanol plain and simple.

This is the short answer. However i would just say that you might run out of octane before you run of of fuel with stock HPFP, so you may not even need a upgraded HPFP to push as far as you can with your pump gas. From what i have seen, the pump gas in Canada can be pretty bad...

If you are talking about crank HP, you can easily get 450-500 crank HP with PS2 on stock HPFP. Just get a custom tune and ditch the JB4, since you dont want meth and you want something simple/relaible. If you are talking about whp, you might be nearing the limit of the stock HPFP even on pump gas with a PS2, but maybe not if canadian pump gas is E0.

Definitely do not need LPFP.

Whether you keep the JB4 or not (i think you should keep it for the additional features), you will need a custom map on the MHD and JB4 to take advantage of your mods

A custom map 6 will get you to the limit of your current stock fuel system . Beyond that you will need additional fueling capacity via hpfp or wmi.

Hpfp is simpler. Meth is cheaper. And just to clarify for me, I have meth and it's pretty simple.

I don't see much reason to ditch the jb4, you've already paid for it and have it installed. If that weren't the case an argument could be made to go flash only. With the bef, you already have the primary advantages seen with mhd/bm3. Although logging capabilities are superior with the flash only options.

I would start with getting map 6 dialed in since you still have a bit of power left on the table with your current set up. See how that power sits with you. However you may hit an octane limit before you hit the fueling limit.

Start by modeling your your map 5 boost targets. Take some logs. Gradually increase the boost targets 1 psi at a time taking at least 3 logs after each change. When you see the hpfp hit its limit, increase fuel open loop by ten. Re log. Increase boost and fuel open loop until you cant keep the hpfp from crashing. Back off 0.5 to 1 psi at the rpm it hit its limit. That's the point you are riding the edge of its capability. That's a fairly rudimentary way to tweak it out. Additional values may need additional changes, but should be simple to do with logs.

Have you flashed the latest ps2 flash map from Burger? They released a new one recently.

May also want to start looking at brake and suspension upgrades to allow you to make better use of your increased power.

High performance driving school.

For the price of ONE mod on these cars... you will pick up corning, braking, and acceleration skills that will apply to any car you own regardless of horsepower.

A lot of dotcom guys join the local BMW club with their M2s, M3s, M4s, etc. and are gone about 1-2 years later because they've modded out their cars and get bored.

The ones who stay in the club are ones who go to the driving schools and track events, and their skills level-up too. Some of these same guys still show up to our track schools in Porsches and Lotus' years later.

School allows you to enjoy every inch of that mod or car ability.

Agreed, but that's not as cool as checking boxes.

OP: No limited slip differential?

F32Fleet - LOL, I don't know. It's pretty cool to out drive a guy in a higher horsepower car. I mean, it's hard not to smile when an Aston Martin pulls over to the side of the track to let you pass (Subaru BRZ with just springs and an alignment).

But yes, I get shiny things. We all LOVE shiny things.
