Coding help
Is there a coding basics forum for beginners?
I would like to see which are the different coding tools out there for bmw and what each of them do. |

Do you want to use something like Carly or Bimmercode or something more advanced like E-Sys for example? Carly is very easy using Bluetooth and an app on your phone while E-Sys is using your laptop and navigating around stuff you barely can't read.

Get the BimmerCode app and a compatible Bluetooth OBD connector and be on your way.

For basic coding get Bimmercode. It will do 99% of what the average owner wants. Google 'Bimmercode youtube' for videos on what you can do with it.

Recently did some coding with bimmercode for the first time. Does anyone know if all or some of the features I coded will be erased when I use bimmerlink to read/erase codes?

Regardless, think about your question for a second… even if they were reading and editing the same codes, Why would the author of BimmerLink make an app that would delete the coding done by his own other app?
