If you're xdriven the front and rear diffs don't use the same fluid, it's GL-4 75w85 G1 hypoid for the rear diff, and it's not cheap either

Added secondary rear extensions that stick down kinda underneath my regular extensions. I'm pretty stoked with how this build has come along

Don't make the same mistake I made.....
Hopped in the car yesterday night to flash my updated BM3 map. In the middle of the flash my battery died. Not died where I could just jump it(I tried). Completely dead. Went today and purchased a new battery along with a trickle charger in 2 separate trips. I thought charging it completely with the trickle charger would help... Still no crank and battery went down under 30% with just me trying. Went a got a battery just before the store closed. Replaced that heavy ass battery, which appeared to be the one the car came with so it was due for replacement. Registered it via Bimmerlink and I was back up and running. If you flash often, have a trickle charger. I've never needed one before but now I'll never flash without it. |

Caught some good lighting when taking these photos over the last couple of weeks. Also got the chance to finally install the m performance style diffuser and larger gloss black exhaust tips I got for Christmas. In love with the mineral grey even more now.
Just waiting till it gets warmer so I can install the CS style trunk lip (another Christmas gift).

Finally got my painted markers installed last week. Hair dryer, started at the top, heated inside/outside of it. Have surround view camera, have to really work your fingers to get the sticky stuff off the inside, then use some goof off to clean the minor stuff and rubbing alcohol.
Really, the heating, removing of the sticky stuff was the most time consuming part. First took 20min...next one about 10min. Way better looking.

Took off my winter setup (during a snow storm), flashed bm3 back to stock and locked dme, removed my smarttop module. Can’t find my factory amp. Might have to leave the bavsound revenant in it. Going car shopping tomorrow. Lol

I actually tried doing my front wheel bearings today, without realizing how !@#% tight it is in there. Might have to take off my coilovers and everything. Ended up calling quits because I have a late shift. Also my 19x8.5 +40 Beyern Mesh came in today. They dont fit. The back of the barrel/lip hits my coilovers. Spacer time maybe?
