Dude, I ride a 4 series with a 11/13 build, dont connect me with a 3! Nevertheless its one of the F3x series, which should have similar software.

Weil, eigentlich wurde die Reifendruckkontrolle erst 03/2014 eingeführt. Is it a US-Import? Because the tpms was introduced in 03/2014. |

Interesting thread.
I have the TPMS on my 435i. You'd think BMW would add the temperature info in iDrive and not require folks to use coding to get this information. I'll admit, I'm too nervous to try and code my car. Knowing me, I'd screw it all up - lol! |

I second that, the more you learn, the more you'll code

Greetings all. I hope someone can offer some insight to an issue I am having. I just recently coded my 16 428i convertible and was mostly successful. The problem I am having though is that I tried to code the car to show the temp of the tires. This car uses NBT2 and I made the changes to rdc safety to try and enable the feature but now the tires are not registering (no color just grey) and the system will not let me perform a reset in idrive because it is greyed out. This sounds similar to a previous poster but I just want to get this fixed before I screw up something else. Can someone help me?

Just coded and added the temperature. My first coding lol without messing anything.
Question though might have been asked and answere, I want to code other stuff like lets say showing full text messages which I think is in HU_NBT will I loose the temp or I have to recode both.....or when I read FA and SVT it will take everything coded and I just add to it |

Hi guys.
I also tried activating the pressure/temp as I was only scanning the topic and only looked for the topics. It seems I do not actually have a sensor, and it just uses the ABS sensors. And can anyone confirm please that if I do not have S2VBA I am probably using the ABS sensors? Stems look like rubber to me. Does anyone know how accurate this is? I would like to order normal tires (not the expensive RFT) and a mobility kit. I am planning to keep the only rims I got for winter, but I would like to order the tyres in the next month or so to get a better price. I would not like to order some tires, and then realize I have the sensors in the stems and can't use the mobility kit or that the tires deflate and it is not detected and then I need to sell the normal tires and order RFT Thanks. |

I am not sure about what the latter 2 do, but I don't see anything (apart from RDC) in common about the three so not sure why you are asking for the difference
The last one looks like the generic coding whtether the system is active or not (just guessing).

The first line is to activate afterwards for retrofit coding TPMS. The others dunno.
