Quick question, i am waiting for my 335i to arrive (Melbourne Red) and i really want to mod the roof and the diffuser to black but you know, being a brand new car, i am very skeptical and afraid to trust my car to someone to have it painted; having said this, i was looking at the alternative that you used: Vinyl. Can you please explain this a little bit to me? i have not seen pics of it either so i am not sure how Vinyl looks in a roof!!

Hey Topgear66,

No worries!

Vinyl is probably the best alternative to paint. I have an appointment set in the coming days so cant wait to share pics with you guys.

However I have dropped the idea of getting the rear diffuser wrapped. I was told that due to extra heat being released from the exhausts, there is a good chance that the vinyl could melt at the back making it impossible to remove. Obviously a melted vinyl wrap at the back would look extremely bad.

With the Melbourne Red, the black roof would look awesome! I think the black roof looks and goes very well with white, red and pretty much any soft colour.

Keep an eye out for some pics that I'll post soon!

I think the Saddle Brown is by far one of the best interior colours BMW has to offer! Very nice in real life. The exclusive stitching makes the whole interior look AWESOME!!!

Great choice on the Saddle Brown. Best looking interior option BMW offers, IMO. Too bad it's available only on one line.

I'm not a fan of the 20s, but I'm amazed that they don't make the car look like it has a huge fender gap. Impressive!
