LiquiMoly 2037 Flush and MOS2 AF Treatment

Hi friends -

So I recently changed my oil and filter and was doing some research on engine flushes and anti friction treatments. My 335 is currently sitting at 57K miles with fresh LiquiMoly 5W-40 LL01 and new MANN filter.

I am planning on changing the oil again because I'm an idiot. Here in NY the winters can be pretty brutal and the 5W-40 wasn't the best choice going into it. I should have used 0W-30. I ordered a new batch of Castrol 0W-30 European Formula and a new filter. So at this point I'm thinking I should use LiquiMoly Engine Flush, change the oil and filter and use MOS2 additive. I'm thinking at 57K miles I would benefit from this and it would help to maintain a nice clean engine going forward using full synthetic.

What do you guys think?

Nice! I've read mostly positive things about the engine flush. I bought my 335 CPO and can't be sure how the last driver treated it, you know?

Like you, I purchased my 335 CPO. The dealership provided me with the car's service history and the previous owner exceeded the 15k OCI. So for peace of mind ran Engine Flush.

The engine seems to run smoother after I added the Ceratec. Ceratec was added two oil changes after the flush. Going to send the oil in for analysis on the next oil change.

Additives are unnecessary. At the end of the day, does anything think an additive is going to be the difference between a complete mechanical failure and a functioning engine?

If you follow or exceed the oil specification and interval, you will be fine. At 99k here with no issues ever since using a 0w-40 BMW certified LL01 motor oil.
