New BMW Owner Here
I was wondering if there is a Steering Wheel Retrofit to the sportier M steering wheel rather than the regular one I purchased a 2016 BMW 340i without the M-package, I've looked up videos but none of them go into detail where to buy them or how i would install it when the airbag sizes are different.
Thanks |

You will need both, the steering wheel and the airbag. it's not interchangeable

Lots of online places to buy. Your dealership can get/install also. You can always find something on ebay and the dealership prices aren't bad sometimes. If your wheel is heated, make sure you get a compatable wheel.

It will be easier to buy the M Sport steering wheel without the airbag at a lower price.
Airbags are classified as hazardous materials items and can be only shipped an authorized entity. Then - you can buy the airbag from the dealer and have installed it there or an indy shop. |

Here is one M steering you can reuse your OEM airbag.

I have actually changed the steering wheel on my x5 4.0i f15. I changed it for the newer one, as we are having on the newer version, as on the 5 series g30 or on the new x5 g05. I have actually had some great headaches while doing it. Changing the wiring, was probably the worst part, the most annoying one. I actually bought the steering wheel without the airbag, and it was way cheaper. I have done all the work by myself, even though I had no idea about how I should do it at the beginning. Later, i found https://atfulldrive.com/mevotech-vs-moog, and I read a lot of useful things while browsing that site.
