Have is missed something, or can anyone please tell me why I’m not seeing the 440i Coupe on the configurator?

I was on the Configurator the other day and it was crap... nothing would load properly. Kept crashing and was slow.. I tried two browsers. So maybe they've been updating and outsourced the work the cheapest supplier..
I did the 440i gran coupe, never tried the coupe, but found out no sunset orange on gran coupe, but this maybe that I didn't know it wasn't available on the 440

You're right, the largest petrol engined 4-series coupe showing on the configurator at the moment is the 430i. Can only assume they've been revising the site and have forgotten to add the 440i - pretty sure it hasn't been discontinued so it will no doubt make a reappearance in the next few days!

That's strange. On the 4 GC configurator the other day, there were only 2 petrol models, the 420i and 440i. No 430i. I have heard that the 430i will have problems with the new emission regulations and is going to need a bit of fettling, - or scrapping in it's current form.

Also there’s now only 3 M cars available on the configurator! What is going on?!

I think the new WLTP standard is messing them up big time across most of the German manufacturers Porsche and Merc have been stopping/pausing production on many models as well.

I noticed that a new C43 Amg co2 emission has gone up from 180 to 202 but bhp rised as well from 367 to 390. Price up by £5k too. Is this Brexit efect?
So I would expect 340i co2 emission will go up as well.

Much as I like to blame Brexit for stuff, sterling's devaluation happened two years ago, right after the referendum, so I don't think we can pin this price rise on Brexit.

So will the introduction of this WLTP standard provide the Treasury with a little bit of a windfall? Seems like under the new regime the official fuel consumption and CO2 ratings will become worse for a lot of cars - and thereby move them up a bracket or two for Road Fund Licence purposes - so assuming no change to the bandings the Treasury will pocket more even though in practical terms the cars themselves won't have changed!

Still, suppose it's no different from other RFL changes we've had in the past; seem to remember being relieved my E46 M3 was a 55-reg as I think the last ones registered as 06-plates were clobbered for a much higher rate of RFL!

I just love the £310 "surcharge" for 5 years because I bought a car that cost more than a micra. That's after the £800 for the first year.
I just hope they put my money into fixing the potholes around here or I'm going to be needing new alloys by this time next year.

Strange the configurator has been updated to remove some cars, but others that we know are no longer available are still there??

The manual versions of the Mx40i’s and the X3 M40i with 360HP are still on there?

I noticed a few cars were put on last night, m2 comp is live, new 8 series, and a load of 3 series petrol models. There may be more, I’ve only had a quick look👍

Cool, although the exterior and interior 360 views of 8 series aren’t working for me.

Also seems they’ve changed how the mpg is shown, for example 335d is 45.6 - 6.2 mpg, how on earth could you only get 6.2mpg!?

Typo?
Maybe should be 45.6 - 46.2?

Yes? Some of the figures are lower than the first one, like 48.7 - 6.5, so don’t think it’s a typo??
