Bluetooth music stopped working
New BMW owner, have a 2017 440xi (last 7 of VIN G189465) and the bluetooth music has stopped working when it was previously working for the last 2-3 weeks.
I have a Pixel 3 XL. * Calls work fine * ConnectedDrive Spotify also doesn't work and can't get my mobile device to enable Apps anymore * Long press and talking with Google Assistant Works When I go into the music menu I can't see my Pixel 3 XL device, if I go back one menu I can see it but but when selecting it it doesn't enable the the feature. I've already downloaded the latest update from BMW.com/update. |

Got it working again....
Between now and yesterday I started going to iDrive -> Options -> Data Transfers and started transferring apps... not sure if this helped fix it or changing my bluetooth settings on my Android device. I ended up using my old Android 8 Nexus 6P and it worked after I paired it. This made me think for a little and I decided to change my bluetooth setting in my Pixel 3 XL. Here are my current Pixel 3 XL bluetooth setting in case someone else runs into the same issue. Show Bluetooth devices without names: off Bluetooth AVRCP Version: AVRCP 1.4 (default) Bluetooth Audio Codex: Use system selection (default) Bluetooth Audio Sample Rate: Use system selection (default) Bluetooth Audio Bits Per Sample: Use system selection (default) Bluetooth Audio channel Mode: Use system selection (default) Bluetooth Audio LDAC Codec: Best Effort Spotify started working, but soon stopped. |
