If you code everything backwards like posted here you should haven't RDC anymore.

Hey guys,

Just completed this retrofit on my 2015 M235i, however I am now getting a TPMS fault on my iDrive and dash. I've read the codes through ISTA+ and have 2 fault codes in the DSC module.

480A46 'Tyre Pressure Monitor: gateway or aerial fault
D35694 'No message (RDC data package 1, 127.0.2), receiver DSC, transmitter FEM

Has anyone ever had this issue? After doing some research I haven't been able to find an exact match. The sensors I bought were brand new and genuine BMW parts so I don't think they're the issue. As my car car has the TPMS integrated into the DSC I just added the sensors to the wheels and then added 2VB to FA and then VO coded DSC, NBT, ICM and KOMBI.

I'm not sure if it's so easy.
But you forgot to code the FEM.

Whoops, yeah I did forget to code the FEM. Hopefully it is that simple! Thanks

Hello guys. I have 2018 f36. Where is the DSC module located, so I can verify if it supports TPMS?

Thanks.

FYI- I got great advice and pricing on TPMS from *********. My car came with sensors made by VDO with the BMW label on them. Was able to buy VDO from them at a fraction of dealer price.

When all is working, why to use another part number?

I deleted all part numbers from your quote which i didn't found in the parts catalog or which aren't exchangeable.
Additionally i found the part number 36106881474.

I have bought:
4 sensors for wheel ref number: 6855539 and install it.
1 control module TPMS 6855180

i have created and installed harness like this
pin 1 to pin 51 A173*8B
pin 2 to Fusible F147 ( I don't have F132)
pin 3 to pin 52 A173*8B
pin 4 to ground

I have installed TPMS and i have seen ECU RDC with Esys.

I have VO coded 2VB and coded ICM, KOMBI, HU NBT, DSC.
i drive with my car, tpms says that TPMS resets and afterthat on NBT, it says that tpms is not working.

I think i have to reset the 4 sensors with rheingold but i don't know how to do.

Do you have any idea?

I hate to beat on a dead horse but am I right to assume the connections described here for the RDC connectivity to FEM are for an F30 with NBT?

That doesn't matter because there's no wire connection to the NBT or CIC.
I think it should work with all headunits and the wiring is all the same.

Coded by FDL (https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...4&postcount=19), but still get errors: "tyre pressure monitor failure", also I has a errors: D018E8 (Message (RDC Tyre status. 280.0.8) missing, receiver ICM, transmiter RDC) and E114A0 (No message (status, tyre RDC 0x368) receiver KOMBI transmitter RDC). How to fix this?

Did you retrofit the ecu and the sensors?
Did you choose the right part numbers?

I have LCI, 2018. So, I hope I have a correct ecu. Sensors not original, but I read that someone use them without issues

Do you know the part number or where you read it?
And is it an EU model?

It is still not clear if it works so easily that you just retrofit the sensors on newer models. All those who have tried so far, have not reported then whether it works or not.

ok, guys, now it works well. I added 2VB to FA and code only DSC today, then compared NCD files (result and backuped) and found that one parameter (C_Funktion_RDCi_l) missed in this thread:

Correct coding list:
HU_NBT > 3001 > RDC > activ
HU_NBT > 3001 RDC_SAFETY > nicht_aktiv (active is not needed, and FA code this parameter as nicht_activ)
HU_NBT > 3001 RPA > nicht_aktiv
HU_NBT > 3001 RDC_FORTSCHRITTSANZEIGE > activ
HU_NBT > 3001 REIFENUEBERWACHUNG_RDC_RPA > rdc (02)
HU_NBT > 3001 RDC_DRUCK_TEMP > druck druck_und_temperatur (02)

FEM > RemoteControl 30D0 > RC_RDC_ENABLE = aktiv

ICM > Daten 3000 > IcmKod_B_S2VBA = verbaut

DSC > DSC_CODIERDATEN_ALLGEMEIN 3000 > C_Funktion_RPA_e = nicht_aktiv
DSC > DSC_CODIERDATEN_RPA_CONTI 3002 > C_RPA_Extra = nicht_aktiv
DSC > DSC_CODIERDATEN_ALLGEMEIN 3000 > C_Funktion_RDCi_l = aktiv - missed parameter

KOMBI > ERM_Konfiguration 3004 > ST_TYR_RDC_ALIVE = aktiv
KOMBI > ERM_Konfiguration 3004 > ST_TYR_RDC_TIMEOUT = aktiv
KOMBI > FZG_Ausstattung 3003 > DSC_MIT_RPA = ohne_RPA (02)

BTW, I bought cheap sensors from Aliexpress - https://aliexpress.com/item/32975907426.html and they works!

I have a 2015/07 330d and I have orderd the 4 sensors for the wheels. I HAVE E-sys. Just one thing, How will the car know the position of the sensor? Is there more coding required?

There’s no more coding required.
The position of the sensors is calculated by the car about the distance and the rotation. The left wheel turns the other way from the sensor's point of view and the sensors in the front wheels are farther from the controller than the sensors in the rear wheels.

Hello experts,

I have been trying to disable the tpms malfunction on my 2012 f30.
I have purchased BimmerCode and wanted to know how i can disable this warning alert that pops up every few seconds.

Can this be done without disconnecting any wiring?
If yes, please advise on how I can use the expert mode.

Thank you, looking forward to fixing this problem Jo
