Frontal Collision Warning System Inactive Message

Hi all, was doing a couple of basic codes using Bimmercode today and noticed that when the ECU restarted and iDrive booted back up I got a warning message about the frontal collision system being inactive.

Didn't seem to linger and I checked both the idrive vehicle status as well as bimmerlink and neither flagged any issues. Tested the front sensors and they seem to be working at least for parking. First time using bimmercode so wondering if I should be concerned? Thinking maybe I should revert/backup the original settings (only adjusted folding mirrors and angel eye brightness).

I don't see the message come on except when the ecu resets from bimmerlink as I did another test code and the same thing happened. When the idrive turns on via regular startup I don't get this message only when using bimmerlink. Thoughts?

I got the same thing. Been having frontal collision warning inactive and pedestrian cross warning inactive since I bought the car. I already had it before I tuned or used anything like bimmercode etc. Would come on randomly. Most of the time the warning doesn’t pop up but occasionally I’ll start the car up regardless of flashing the car and it’ll show up and go away next time I drive it. I don’t think it has anything to do with you using bimmercode.

Anybody more knowledgeable on this could provide some info?
