Brake Pedal Noise

So, I hear a clunk every time I let go of the brake pedal. Drives me nuts.
Any way to eliminate this? To be clear it's coming from the pedal itself not the brakes.

I get this as well in my M135i with only 400 miles on the clock.

its a function of how fast the pedal returns to its initial position and the hard rubber stopper. Guess you could find a softer rubber compound to deaden the sound. I assume there is a compression or helper spring that forces the pedal return, you might be able to adjust that- just not sure.

I took it to the dealership. They replaced a pin or something and it's much better but not completely gone.

I would like to know what the part number is that was installed. Should be on your invoice.

thanks! If the return is still too abrupt, you may be able to replace or stretch the adjacent return spring slightly (pn: 34336753646) to soften the return.
