I'd look into copper plugs, better performance but much shorter intervals.
So, Are you saying that this NGK 5992 old#, now NGK 95770 1 step colder is the same as stock n55?
NGK 5992 is one step colder than N54, but OEM N55 is already one step colder than N54. So yes

Depending how much boost you're running I'd recommend the S55 or N20 oem plugs.

I thought answer was S55.

We need a tuner or expert to weigh in. Even shops here don't know. I blew 4 plugs and coil packs due to poor gapping on stock plugs and High boost, so def don't experiment with this crap.

I wasn't sure if the S55 was the one step colder, however that does seem to be correct. Another person posted that it is indeed the 97506, spendy bastards, guess I'll try to get them off ebay and save $4 per plug.

Wasn't saying it was bad you went to those plugs, was only saying they are not the one step colder like BMS said.

But if ngk 5992 is same heat range as stock what is 2 steps colder? I was under the impression that n20 plugs were 1 step colder than 5992.

But again, some people said that is wrong. That step colder is from n54 plugs not from n55. Heck the part # also changed.

Waiting on this also as I have 46k miles on my spark plugs and thinking to change them soon.
I dont have any issues that I know with the stock ones running on map2/93 - week and map5/e40 - weekends. So that may be true about that one step colder is from n54 and the same as the oem n55. For now Im leading to s55.
