Spotify Android Bluetooth

I just bought a used 2013 328ix and spotify will stream through bluetooth and even sometimes (im not sure why or why not) it will display the song names. Anyone know a fix for the metadata or should i just switch to apple? It has no problem displaying song names from googleplay so maybe this is just spotifys issue? Im extremely confused and ive tried almost everything.
