Yeah i know what you mean...things are going all touchscreen with cars also. But the Golf Face lift has gone back to real buttons i heard from the touch ones on the steering wheel that had lots of complaints. I think Motorrad will but the heated handle bar button back when they refresh the 1300, i am sure that will be the most complained about item.

I am looking at trading my current 1250GS for a new GSA. Triple black gold alloys and all the toys...Test rode a 1300 today thee 719 option version. Its def very nice and handles well etc. still not sure on the front end styling and the seat did not fell as comfy but that may b because its so new??

Good deals on the GSA at the moment..

Its a great bike - not hard to see why it is one of the best selling bikes about.

Now, i am a sportsbike person and NEVER thought i would be on a GSA. The Tiger was a surprising departure, but the GSA even more!

Just so much road presence and all day long comfort. Biggest issue for me was the buffeting from the screen, so that was replaced with a taller one - proper wafty touring feel. Mid summer last year i put a shorty screen on it and it kinda feels supermotard now.

I have never ridden a GS, so cant really compare, but as you probably know, if the handle bars go through a gap - the GSA will!!!!!

Mines has all the options, i think (was a stock bike). I certainly toggle with the rider/suspension modes depending on the mood/road/weather.

Sports bike to GSA thats some pilgrimage...

Yeah i know what you mean about road presence it def something the new 1300 lacks. The seat on the new 1300 is imo not as comfy as the 1250 seat which is also an issue., but that could be because its so new and will soften...hard to say? New electric windscreen is better on the 1300 however.

Lovely!

How are you liking it? An improvement on the GS?

Yeah its really nice. Feels more planted on the road and the larger 30l tank gives it great range. The rake angle is different also so it rides differently. Hard to describe but in a nice way. Loaded with toys such as heated seats and bars, adaptive headlights ABS Pro, Adaptive ride etc etc. really good
